Wallpapering
Wallpaper hung with attention to pattern, seams and the wall behind it
Feature walls or full rooms, prepared so the paper sits flat, matches where it should, and finishes cleanly at edges and corners.

Wallpaper hanging for feature walls and rooms
Wallpapering is skilled hanging on a wall that has been prepared for it. We install patterned and plain papers on feature walls or complete rooms, with the layout planned so repeats, seams and prominent views are considered before the first length goes up.
This is contemporary decorating work. We do not offer historic paper conservation or specialist restoration of antique hangings. If a wall is not ready — loose paint, damp, or an unsuitable surface — that has to be dealt with before paper is a sensible choice.
What we can help with
Wallpapering is quoted around the wall condition, the paper you have chosen and the area to be covered.
- Wallpaper hanging on prepared walls
- Feature walls and complete rooms
- Patterned wallpaper and careful alignment
- Seams, edges, corners and finishing details
- Preparation of suitable underlying surfaces
Typical rooms
Most wallpaper work is in living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways, either as one considered wall or a full wrap.
01
A single feature wall behind a bed, sofa or dining table
02
A full room where the pattern has to run true around openings
03
Hallways and landings where edges, reveals and traffic need extra care
04
Papers with a noticeable repeat that must be planned from the right starting point
How we approach wallpapering
01
Wall and paper
We review the wall condition, the type of wallpaper, the pattern repeat and the area you want covering.
02
Plan the layout
Starting points, quantities and where the pattern will sit on the main views are decided before hanging begins.
03
Prepare the surface
Walls are made ready so the paper can sit flat — lining or other preparation only where the wall actually needs it.
04
Hang and detail
Paper is hung with attention to matching, seams and edges, then checked as part of the finished room.
Why Sean & Mo for wallpaper
Wallpapering fails in the planning and the wall, not in the last length. We treat both as part of the decorating job.
The wall comes first
We will not hang good paper over a surface that will telegraph joints, dust or movement. Preparation is part of the quote when it is needed.
Pattern is designed, not guessed
Repeats, starting points and the walls you look at first are planned so the room does not end up with an awkward cut in the wrong place.
Paint and paper together
Many rooms need both. Interior painting and wallpapering can be scheduled as one project so colours, edges and the paper meet cleanly.
