Spray painting is used where a smoother, more even coating suits the item — after we have checked that the surface can take it.
Kitchen and joinery spray painting
Spray painting is a controlled way to coat suitable cabinetry, fitted furniture, joinery and selected prepared surfaces. It is chosen when a brush or roller would struggle to give the even, modern finish the item needs.
It is not an industrial or commercial spray-line service, and it is not something we apply to every substrate. UPVC, factory coatings and unsuitable plastics are outside this page because we do not treat them as standard work. If a surface cannot be sprayed well, we will say so.

Suitability depends on the substrate and the required finish. Not every surface can be sprayed.

How spray painting is handled

Suitability first
We inspect the cabinetry, furniture or joinery and say whether spray finishing is appropriate for that substrate.

Finish and colour
Colour, sheen and the amount of preparation are agreed before anything is taken apart or masked.

Prepare and protect
Items and surrounding areas are cleaned, repaired where needed, masked and primed for a controlled spray application.

Spray and inspect
The coating is applied in stages, then the finished surfaces are checked for coverage, edges and consistency.

No false promises
A sprayed finish can look exceptionally even on the right surface. It will not rescue doors or cabinets that are the wrong material or too far gone.
